Businessman - researcher and producer of materials for restoration

Senior Researcher – Technical expert in environmental acoustics .

P.I. Electronic Diploma and Law degree at the University of Pisa. He started his career working as employee at the Acciaierie di Piombino steelworks area , where he improved his practical experience in the field of labor and corporate law, because of his daily contrast with trade unions and institutions,  at the same time he obtained methodological approach finalized to high difficult technical problem solving. He resigned after eight years to pursue his own business, still carried out, mainly through research and developing projects needing a real experience as well as legal and technological knowledge.

Career:

1975 – 1983 Technical and organizational employee, steelworks maintenance area (6th level boss in charge )

1976 President of the building company “la Marina ” ( designing and building of the Village S.Rocco in Piombino (LI) .

1982 – 1988 Administrator, on behalf of the Episcopal Curia of Massa Marittima,  of the huge estate heritage of the Diocese. He succeeded in launching again the works ( stuck for nine years) related to the construction of the church Diaccioni , designer Henry Mandolesi , bringing the work to completion.

1982 He grouped companies with the aim of restoring historical buildings in Toscana and participated in the first official research aimed at the restoration promoted by the Italian State Superintendence of Matera. In collaboration with Italcementi he began a specialization course in formulating and testing of innovative compounds applied to a variety of ancient artifacts . He created and administered TECNO EDILE TOSCANA, now holder of the trademark Ledan .

1985 He processed a project involving Curia , Superintendence of Pisa and Livorno , Civil Engineers and local building contractors; he coordinated researches with application in restoration of the most significant historic buildings in the area.

In 1990 He carried ” external service orders ” on behalf of Italian chemical groups operating in the research  coordinated by the Ministry of Education. In this context, he promoted projects aimed at enhancing the Italian artistic and historical heritage through research .

1991 – He is appointed member of the board of directors of the Research Centre AGEMINA spa, a sponsoring member of the Science Park Research Citadel of Brindisi. In this role he participated significantly to the editing of procedure rules and managing the issues of three National Plans Research related to innovation in the building industry with particular reference to the monuments restoration. He carried out this activity both directly and through a number of consortia among which the most representative are CORIRE , TEMA , TERIMA , CORIMA , CIDAGI .

1995 He is elected president of the National Consortium Encapsulating Asbestos Manufacturers; he coordinated the majority of participants in the legislative committee issuing  this important issue , the first European technical legislation .

1996 For all the above activities , Agemina SpA has been recognized OFFICIAL LABORATORY of the M.I.U.R. (Official Gazette . # 120 of 24/05/1996 )

2013 As director of the Research Center he developed and conducted research and developing projects on behalf of important Italian and foreign companies .
