Bruno Brunetti

Full Professor of General and Inorganic Chemistry and President of the Center SMAArt , “Scientific Methodologies applied to Archaeology and Art ” , University of Perugia.

Author of about 150 publications in the international literature concerning the chemical kinetics and the development of innovative scientific methods for the study and conservation of works of art.

During 2001-2004 and 2004-2009 , Coordinator respectively of the European Network LabS-TECH (Laboratories on Science and Technology for the conservation of the European Cultural Heritage , HPRI -CT- 2000-40018 ) and the European Integrated Infrastructure Initiative EU-ARTECH, (Access, Research and Technology for the Conservation of the European Cultural Heritage, RII3-CT-2004-506171).

From 2006 to 2008 , Responsible of the Perugia Unit in the European (Marie Curie) Project EPISCON, “European PhD in Science for Conservation”.

Currently Coordinator of the European Integrated Project CHARISMA, (Cultural Heritage Advanced Research Infrastructures: Synergy for a Multidisciplinary Approach to Conservation, FP7 n.228330).
